First time’s a charm: found a job in no time

Jonas Baziukas, an environmental specialist, found out about the NO-CV app by browsing Instagram. At the time he was just thinking about looking for a new job, so when he saw an ad, he downloaded the app.

“I tend to try different apps. I was intrigued by the concept of not having to send a CV. I have had the experience of not only having to upload my CV on conventional platforms, but then having to enter the same information a second time in the fields provided,” says J. Baziukas.

He’s not lying – it’s annoying to have to fill in the CV on different platforms. He also fails to see the logic of attaching a paper CV and having to fill in the same details a second time.

His experience with the NO-CV app was completely different. He filled in his profile quickly and easily, and shortly afterwards he received a notification that there was a suitable position for him. All he had to do was click on the “Apply” button.

When a person looking for job applies for a position, the information provided by the person is disclosed to the employer. Until then, no one can identify who is interested in the job advertisement. This preserves the anonymity of the jobseekers.

“I selected the positions I was interested in, within the app, turned it off and forgot about it. A few days later, I received a notification that a job matching my requirements was available. I applied and I was successful,” said the environmental specialist.

The man joked that if he had to evaluate his search for job in numbers, he would definitely give it 100 percent.

“I got the very first job I applied for. I was lucky that my needs matched the requirements of the employer. I liked the fact that I didn’t have to waste a lot of time, and when you apply, you can reach the employer very quickly”, says J. Baziukas.

This environmental specialist, who was employed by “YIT Lietuva”, one of the largest construction companies in Lithuania, says he is very satisfied with his job.
